Ford Flathead Engine Fresh Rebuilt Shortblock 49-53 8ba 239ci on 2040-parts.com
Denver, Colorado, United States
I had this engine rebuilt for a project but no longer need it, excellent work done on this 8BA engine, check out the receipts with over $3500 invested. Check out reviews on the machine shop if you want to, G & S auto parts in Littleton, CO. New everything and adjustable lifters! I'd like to get out what I have in, this is an excellent buy if you just need a shortblock. I was missing the oil pickup tube so it was not completely assembled, will bolt oil pan to it for shipping, but will probably not have an oil pickup tube or pump inside of it. I can wrap it, pallet and have it ready for freight or drop at a terminal in Denver, buyer handles the freight logistics and payment though... This engine is freshly rebuilt, but is sold as is; I have had several engines rebuilt by these guys and never had a problem. I also have the complete gasket kit, and original parts including the heads, intake, exhaust, etc. which can come with the engine if desired. Also have the bellhousing that I paid about $200 for which can come with it, for $200 more.
Thanks! Noah |

Rolls-Royce Wraith revealed: Geneva Motor Show 2013
Mon, 04 Mar 2013The Rolls Royce Wraith has beenĀ revealedĀ as a 624bhp V12 Fastback with 590lb/ft of torque and a 0-60mph of 4.4 seconds. Rolls Royce claim the Wraith as the most dynamic car they’ve ever produced and, even though it is still the size of a football pitch, it actually sits on a shortened Ghost wheelbase with a wider track to make it a bit more nimble. Rolls Royce has also stiffened the Ghost’s suspension for the Wraith (although not too much) for a bit less roll and added a bit more weight to the steering.
Why the Stingray's $52K sticker should come with an asterisk
Tue, 30 Apr 2013General Motors resisted the urge to jack up the price on the 2014 Corvette Stingray, despite major enhancements on the seventh-generation sports car. The $51,995* sticker for the coupe, which is expected to hit showrooms by September, is just 1,400 bucks more than the current model, even with its more powerful engine, better fuel economy and vastly improved interior. Why the asterisk?
Dacia Duster (finally) gets a bit of a facelift for 2015 in the UK
Fri, 19 Sep 2014The Dacia Duster finally gets updated in the UK A whole year ago, at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2013, the Dacia Duster Facelift was revealed. But that facelifted Duster was just for the European LHD market; the UK soldiered on with the old model. But now, a year on, the UK is finally getting a facelifted Duster which, more or less, seems to follow the lead of the European makeover.
