NOS Ampco top cylinder oiler kit for Ford Flathead engines.  This is a period correct reliability accessory designed to automatically deliver a mist of oil vapor into the air/fuel mixture below the carb, by manifold vacuum, to lubricate valve guides, stems, seats, cylinder bores and rings - everywhere the crankcase oil cannot reach.  As we are now forced to use dry, unleaded/ethanol gasoline in engines designed to run on leaded gas, the Ampco lubricator is especially beneficial.  Your Flathead engine will run quieter, smoother, and will be protected from the negative effects of modern gasoline. Stuck valves will be a thing of the past!  The Ampco lubricator will remove carbon deposits which can cause pre-ignition. Reduces valve to seat recession, increases compression, and increases  fuel economy by reducing friction in the hottest part of your engine.

The Ampco top cylinder oiler is made in the USA - the carb plate is newly manufactured.  The oiler is fully adjustable.  Dual carb engines will require a 2nd carb plate kit and tubing splitter, available from Ampco Lubricators LLC. Ampco lubricators can be fitted to ANY engine!  Over 25 carb plates kits are available.  The oiler nozzle can also be installed into a PCV or vacuum hose utilizing our universal 'T' adaptor.  Recommended Lubricant is marvel Mystery Oil. Ford dumps the CD player

Tue, 26 Jul 2011

CD Players in Ford Cars are no more I’m not old enough to remember when cars came with valve radios, but I am old enough to remember when many cars didn’t even get a radio. I’m also old enough to remember when the music source of choice in a car was the 8-track tape machine. And actually, for in-car use, 8-tracks were great.
