I am selling one of my Flathead's. Please look at the photos before asking questions. It was rebuilt at some time (before i bought it) and is bored .030 over. I can;t feel a ridge . There is a valve or 2 stuck so it only turns over about 3/4 turn I checked for cracks and I only saw 2 between the bolt hole ans coolant hole. These won't bother anything, so it will be good for a rebuild. I am selling this as a rebuildable core and it will probably require additional machining and cleaning. I looks like it had 6 or 7 reconditioned rods replaced years back. I will only ship to the lower 48 states, and I can ship to most areas for about $190.00. No crate charge! If you would like to pick it up that is fine, It is in Indianapolis, Indiana. If you have less than 10 positive feedback's please email me before bidding. Thank You

'Ambulance chasers' face new controls

Mon, 09 Jun 2014

THE CULTURE of "ambulance-chasing" lawyers and bogus whiplash claims could come to an end following new measures set out by the Government to crack down on insurance fraud. The reforms by the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) aim to tackle the rise of the compensation culture and reduce the amount being paid out unnecessarily by insurance companies - which can lead to higher premiums for honest customers.

Chrysler Group and Fiat Group's auto division could become a single company based in the United States, Chrysler and Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne told an industry conference here Friday. That won't happen until after Chrysler refinances the government loans that have kept if from being profitable and holds an initial public offering, both of which Marchionne hopes will happen this year. "From a corporate governance standpoint, there's a point where separate companies make no sense.

Do Traffic Lights Hold The Key To Saving Fuel?

Tue, 11 Mar 2014

SUPERMARKET fuel price cuts may come and go, but it’s becoming increasingly difficult to achieve longer lasting savings. German car maker Audi thinks it may have the answer, as it’s developed a system that ‘talks’ to traffic lights. The goal is to save fuel by alerting drivers to when lights change so they can slow down, plus prime a car’s engine stop-start system when a change from red to green is imminent.
