The item that I am selling in this auction is a VERY cool shirt. Shirt is size XXL. This shirt has an amazing bold image of Ford's legendary Flathead motor. You can see the old Stromberg carb poking up on top. This is a hard shirt to beat! Any Ford / Mercury fan would be proud to wear this. This is the classic hotrod motor for any Model T, Model A or Model B Ford/ roadster. Dark black shirt with a crisp clear white print so no worries if you have to climb under the hood wearing this one. This shirt celebrates the old Flathead that came in most Ford / Mercury cars and trucks for many years. The first productions Flathead V8 rolled off the line on March 9th, 1932. The last Flatheads were produced in 1953 (although Canadian production cars/ trucks got the motor for an extra year in 1954!) That is it! This is a brand new, never worn shirt. It is high quality 100% cotton T-shirt. Print is high quality (this is NOT a cheap iron-on) If you still have a ratrod, F series truck, mercury meteor, roadster or tudor that had one of these engines tucked under the hood between 1932, 1933, 1934, 1935, 1936, 1937, 1938, 1939, 1940, 1941, 1942, 1943, 1946, 1947, 1948, 1949, 1950, 1951, 1952, 1953 then this shirt is for you. Volume sales of plug-in Toyota Prius to begin in two years
Mon, 21 Dec 2009Toyota will start leasing 150 of its Prius plug-in hybrids in the United States this winter and plans retail sales of tens of thousands in two years. The North American arrival, scheduled for around February, is part of a global rollout of 600 units. With a longer electric-only cruise range than the standard Prius, the plug-in is Toyota's answer to the Chevrolet Volt extended-range hybrid being launched next year by General Motors Co.
