Here is a set of Ford spindles that appears to have been modified for spindle mount or wire wheels , possible Dragster , Anglia , I dont have a clue , just know that they are early Ford and were modified for some kind of sport use . I included a sheet in the pictures with measurements . The king pin diameter size is the same as 1937/1941 , and looks like the bearing would go above the spindle . Look um over , and if ya can use um on your project , toss in a bid . If ya recognize what they are , I'd love to know exactly what they are myself . I ship in the Continental United States only Thanx for lookin .

Ford Mondeo ECOnetic averages 101mpg from Helsinki to Oslo

Fri, 18 May 2012

Ford Mondeo ECOnetic Economy Record A Ford Mondeo ECOnetic has averaged 101.25mpg on a 1576 mile drive from Helsinki to Oslo, a new European record. The official fuel economy figures car makers quote are, to a great extent, the stuff of fiction; designed to deliver the best possible results in official testing but with little relevance to the real world. But the fact the official figures can be achieved does mean, driving style permitting, that extraordinary feats of economy can be demonstrated by modern, fuel efficient cars.

Tue, 24 Jun 2014

The Jaguar F-Type Project 7 revealed ahead of Goodwood FoS There were very few dissenting voices when Jaguar revealed their Project 7 F-Type Roadster Concept, homage to Jaguar’s D-Type, and it seems the almost universal approval of Jaguar’s creation has persuaded JLR that a production version of the Project 7 should be Jaguar’s first Special Operations division production car. And here it is. Due to be revealed at the Goodwood Festival of Speed later this week, the Jaguar F-Type Project 7 is a limited run, more powerful, more dynamic and more extreme version of Jaguar’s regular F-Type Roadster.

MINI – George Harrison Homage

Fri, 15 May 2009

MINI has recreated George Harrison's 1960s Mini Cooper to be auctioned for charity Apart from the Mini nothing is more redolent of the ’60s than the Beatles – the band who changed the world. And these two sixties icons came together in 1966 when the Beatles manager, Brian Epstein, presented each of the Fab Four with a Mini Cooper S – as a thank-you for making him a wealthy man! With the big MINI United Festival looming ( May 22nd-24th at Silverstone ) MINI has re-created one of those original Minis to be auctioned in aid of charity.
