LINCOLN HEAD GASKET

Another great vintage listing from Falcon Classic! This listing is for two (2) BEST Gasket copper cylinder head gaskets for 1949-51 Lincoln cars and Ford truck models with the 337ci flathead V-8 engine. P/N (2) 726C. BEST Gasket is the leading name in sealing performance in the restoration industry. Image shown is an actual factory supplied picture showing set contents.

Best copper cylinder head gaskets consist of two outer sheets of a generously thick .010" copper and a low-density graphite “filler” sheet. This high-quality graphite sheet is superior to asbestos, which was used in the old days, and far superior to the non-asbestos materials found in other manufacturers' modern copper head gaskets. Excellent torque retention is achieved by using superior materials. Best copper gaskets are definitely “old-school” but with a modern flair for better performance. They are such works of art, we almost hate to sell them!

FALCON TECH NOTE: When installing a Best copper head gasket, use a spray-on sealant like K&W Copper Coat or Permatex Copper Spray-A-Gasket and always re-torque; no short-cuts.

McLaren MP4-12C by Mansory heading for Geneva 2012

Fri, 02 Mar 2012

The Mansory take on the McLaren MP4-12C German tuners Mansory are heading to the Geneva Motor Show with their take on the MP4-12C – the Mansory McLaren MP4-12C. When we heard that German tuners Mansory were taking a Mansory McLaren MP4-12C to the Geneva Motor Show this year, we did wonder what we were in for. After all, Mansory are as capable of destroying a car (like the Mansory Rolls Royce Ghost) as they are of enhancing it (like the Mansory Aston Martin DB9).

First 2015 retail Mustang goes for $300K

Mon, 20 Jan 2014

Compared to your typical Barrett-Jackson collector car auction price, $300,000 might not seem like too much--a 1967 Corvette went for $3.8 million. But with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, $300,000 doesn't sound too shabby. On Saturday, the winning bidder ended up dishing out $300k for the first 2015 retail Ford Mustang GT, about 10 times the actual price.

Nissan BladeGlider EV Sports Car Concept for Tokyo Motor Show

Fri, 08 Nov 2013

The Nissan BladeGlider EV Sports Car Concept (pictured) will debut at the Tokyo Motor Show Nissan are trying to push the envelope for road-going electric cars with the BladeGlider electric car concept that will debut at the Tokyo Motor Show this month and looks – at least in some form – to be heading for production. Inspired by the aero industry – and taking inspiration from Nissan’s DeltWing Project – the BladeGlider gets a very narrow front track and a much wider rear, wrapped in carbon fibre reinforced plastic with an interior that offers a 1+2 seating arrangement. Nissan say the extremely narrow front track reduces drag and enhances manoeuvrability for extreme cornering, and its 30/70 rear-biased weight distribution could give plenty of tail-out fun.
