Ford Marine 2"/4" water cooled Thru-hull Headers - BBF 429 / 460 Polished SS, US $400.00, image 1
Condition:Used

Here they are. Used 1 hour for engine testing. Like new condition.

Complete set of 2" into 4" single wall water injected polished stainless steel headers for BBF 429 or 460 type engine. Mounting hardware and copper gaskets thrown in for free. Water injection hardware also included. Boxed and ready to ship. Ships FedEx Ground in one 48 lb. box.

The copper gaskets were installed backwards oops. I would recommend using non copper gaskets anyways . I included the bolts I used also as there are clearance issues with some of the bolt heads, you can dimple the headers with a rounded brass drift and a hammer if you so choose. I did not. All of the welds are quality weld with no leakage evident .

All items are sold as-is, where-is and no warranty or liability is expressed or implied in their use.

Too many people were asking me to sell these, so I will let the auctioneers fight it out !

Tracking device can also alert driver about a late car payment

Fri, 13 May 2011

That buzzing noise you hear in the car could be more than a seatbelt reminder--it could be a payment reminder. Some dealerships install tracking devices in the vehicles of high-risk buyers. That makes it easier to track down the buyer--and the car--if the payments stop.

One-fourth of U.S. drivers have trouble paying for auto repairs, AAA says

Thu, 04 Aug 2011

Americans have difficulty paying for costly vehicle repairs and are driving older cars longer, according to a survey released by AAA. One quarter of American drivers said they would be unable to pay for repairs to their vehicle of more than $2,000, and one in eight said they would be unable to pay for repairs of more than $1,000, the survey said. More than half of drivers said they are still driving an older vehicle “because they do not want the financial burden of a new one,” the survey said.

Cadillac Ciel concept

Fri, 19 Aug 2011

The Cadillac Ciel concept, a four-seat convertible, has just been revealed at the 2011 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. "The Ciel is about the romance of the drive," says Clay Dean, global design director of Cadillac. "It emulates the great touring cars seen on the greens at Pebble Beach, but with a modern flair that projects Cadillac's vision for the future." Interior design manager Gael Buzyn says, "Simplicity and lightness ensure nothing distracts from the open driving experience, while the color and materials lend the feeling that the vehicle's environment blends with the surroundings." The four-door Cadillac Ciel concept was developed with a long, low proportion, reminiscent of classic automobiles, while the interior features Italian olive wood, machined aluminum and hand-tipped leather.
