1939 FORD / MERCURY RADIO THAT HAS BEEN RESTORED, A ZENITH MODEL 6MF350 DIAL-0-MATIC DELUXE MODEL, WILL FIT ALL 1939 PASS CLOSED CARS AND THE ONLY YEAR IT IS CORRECT FOR, WILLL NOT FIT ANY OTHER YEARS.  IT HAS ALL ZENITH TUBES AS WELL.  THE LEFT DIAL BEZEL HAS A SMALL AMOUNT OF CHROME LOSS, HARD TO SEE BUT MUST BE MENTIONED.  THE PLUG WIRE END HAS A SMALL DENT.  PLEASE REVIEW ALL PICTURES FOR A DETAILED VIEW OF ANY WEAR.  THE RADIO IS READY TO INSTALL- WORKS WELL AND PLAYS FINE.

ROAD SAFETY charity the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) is offering advice to drivers on coping with windy weather, as more inclement weather sweeps across the country. Peter Rodger, the IAM's chief examiner, has offered the following tips for driving in high winds: Plan your journey – is there a route with less exposure to the weather and less risk of fallen trees? Choose a sheltered route if you have the option.

Porsche says Panamera avoids gas-guzzler tax

Few expenses were spared in conceiving the Porsche Panamera, but consumers will avoid at least one cost of ownership: the ignominious gas-guzzler tax. Porsche has announced ratings for the 2010 sedan; it will get a combined figure of 18 mpg or 19 mpg from the EPA, depending on the model. This means Porsche’s four-door foray will avoid a fairly substantial cost of ownership--a tax of up to $7,700 is levied on the most prolific guzzlers.
