Jaguar XF – Women’s World Car of the Year
Fri, 11 Dec 2009The Jaguar XF wins the Women's World Car of the Year Award This month has been a bit of a Jaguar good news fest. We reported that Jaguar Land Rover are back in profit, sales of Jaguar have gone through the roof and that Jaguar has topped the J.D. Power survey 2009 in the US.
Future products: Land Rover will get hybrids, smaller vehicles
Thu, 02 Sep 2010New owner Tata Motors promises that Land Rover will add smaller vehicles and hybrid powerplants, but it hasn't said much about the timing. Land Rover will continue to share components with Jaguar, which is also under Tata ownership. Land Rover already uses Jaguar's 5.0-liter V8 engine in all but one of its vehicles.
Volkswagen to reveal new electric car concept
Tue, 23 Aug 2011Volkswagen is due to reveal a one-seat electric car concept in early September as the manufacturer explores its greener future. Part of the on-going project to cut its average fleet emissions Volkswagen has designed the concept vehicle for limited journeys, with the vehicle due to be unveiled on September 8 in Berlin. There's no word yet as to whether it will appear at the Frankfurt motor show just a few days later, but we'd be surprised not to see it there.
