This is a set of 2 shocks for a Model A Ford, 1928-1931 a left and a right, can be used on front or rear.  Complete shocks, arms, tubular links, mounting bolts, and oil plug. The tubular links have the internal parts: screw in plug, springs, spacers, and lube fittings.  Each tubular link is missing 2 of the ball seats, for a total of 4 needed.  These can be bought for $1.00 a piece at Mac's and other antique auto parts stores.  These were taken off of a 1929 Model A Tudor.  In restoration I decided to update to the modern gas shock is the only reason they were removed.  If you have any questions or would like more pics please e-mail me and I will be happy to help.  Thanks

Daimler, Renault are set to share vehicle platforms and engines

Wed, 31 Mar 2010

Following a year of intensive high-level talks and secretive, behind the scenes strategy meetings, Daimler AG and Renault SA have agreed on plans that will see their car-making divisions--Mercedes-Benz, Smart, Renault and Nissan--share resources on a wide range of products. The move signals more consolidation within the European automotive industry. Daimler chairman Dieter Zetsche and Renault president Carlos Ghosn have set out three primary areas of cooperation that will see the carmakers share small-car and light-commercial-vehicle platforms, small gasoline and diesel engines, and electric drive systems.

Rural motorists pay price at pumps

Mon, 19 May 2014

RURAL MOTORISTS are beginning to feel petrol price pressure at the pumps again, according to the AA. Average UK petrol prices went back above 130p a litre at the end of April and continue to hover around that level. But the AA said that a war in which supermarkets have pitted vouchers against rock-bottom pump prices means the cheapest petrol in many big towns and cities is at year-lows of just under 126p.

Parade of Woodward Dream Cruise classics gets underway

Fri, 19 Aug 2011

Friday marked the final prelude of the 17th annual Woodward Dream Cruise but pre-event festivities have been underway for days throughout suburban Detroit. A lights-and-sirens cruise graced the streets of Ferndale, Mich., during late afternoon, while an emergency-vehicle show ran through the evening; live DJs set up to play through the day and night in Pontiac, Mich.; a classic-car parade lit up the streets in the nearby suburb of Berkley; and classic-car displays have now claimed much of the pavement in Royal Oak. Among local car enthusiasts participating in the week-long buildup to the Woodward Dream Cruise, Kathy Lang and her husband have been set up with their 1964 Dodge Polara in the Royal Oak vicinity since Monday.
