Ford Model T Original Brass Running Board Step Plates Pair.  Same Car. Same Era.  Not repro. extremely rare as brass was melted down for World War I armaments beginning 1918.  Most of your patriots would have donated these to scrap to help the war effort.  Will fit 1909-1925, but would look really sharp on 1916 and below, brass era cars, to compliment the stunning brass radiator and headlight rings which are brass as well.  Prevents people from stepping (with rocks in the tread of their shoes) and scratching your nicely painted running boards.  If I don't sell, I'll put on my 1915-1916.  Shipping is $19.99 due to weight.

Jaguar F-Type leaks again – more photos

Tue, 25 Sep 2012

The 2013 Jaguar F-Type is due to be revealed in two days at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, but ahead of that we have a full set of photos. Last week we had theĀ firstĀ leak of a Jaguar F-Type photo (quickly followed by an official version of the same photo from Jaguar), and this morning we have a full set of photos of the new F-Type, courtesy of Teamspeed. What we get this time is the F-Type on the road, and a shot of the F-Type’s interior too – which looks very ‘modern’ Jaguar.

Big Three Truck Premieres

Tue, 10 Oct 2006

Once just a local agricultural fair, the State Fair of Texas, Dallas, has now become the launch platform of choice for automobile manufacturers to present new trucks. Texas is an immense market for pickup trucks and this year, the Detroit Three were there, along with Toyota, to present world premieres. And for the auto executives that make the trip down, the Texas Fair is surely the easiest assignment they will get each year: people in Texas like full size trucks and buy them as personal vehicles not because they need their capacity but rather because "it's Texas here, y'know".

Ford rolls out 2010 model line

Tue, 21 Jul 2009

Ford's big stars for the 2010 model year are obviously the Mustang and Taurus. But less flashy--and perhaps nearly as important--are more subtle improvements throughout its product portfolio, including nicer interiors and a fine-tuned version of Sync that could help the Blue Oval win customers and improve its image in the marketplace. The idea is to fortify its lineup with refinements "experienced immediately in a five-minute test drive," said Derrick Kuzak, Ford's group vice president of global product development.
