FORD  MOTOR  COMPANY promotional tyre/tire gauge.

Appears to be stainless steel body and white plastic  pop-out numbered section....by which I mean when you are using the gauge, the white section comes out with the pressure and you read the tyre pressure from it.....like was always done until the recent digital gauges.

I don't know how old this one is, not antique, but not  the past few years either.

It is actually new, just made some years ago...I bought a few of them from where they had been stored for some years apparently.

THESE WERE MADE IN USA  and stamped as such.
Has a  pocket clip like on a pen,as mechanics etc. always seemed to have one in their top pocket.
Note that the gauge is in PSI , pounds per square inch.

SIZE....approx. 144mm long when closed.

Postage is FREE.

New Jaguar Brand Promo video – David Gandy: Escapism

Thu, 26 Sep 2013

New Jaguar Brand Promo video: David Gandy: Escapism Somebody at Jaguar PR has a fondness for British model David Gandy, and they’ve turned his profile in to an ongoing promo for all things Jaguar in recent months. We had the good Mr Gandy (who hails from the home of Cars UK – Billericay) driving an XK120 earlier this year with Yasmin le Bon in the Mille Miglia, and this time Jaguar are aiming at the ladies with a brand promo video featuring David driving classic Jags but focusing in on the heritage and appeal of the new F-Type in the process. Jaguar introduced the film at the Goodwood Revival earlier this month, but now we get the full release of the film - David Gandy: Escapism – with David explaining his passion for cars – and in particular his passion for Jaguar cars – with the film including not just the new F-Type, but the inspiration for the F-Type – the Jaguar E-Type – and perhaps the most appealing, and rare, Jaguar of all – the Jaguar XK-SS.

CAR tech: building the world's fastest EV

Mon, 07 Oct 2013

By Jesse Crosse Motor Industry 07 October 2013 09:00 What if you could toss all the qualms about electric cars out the window and build one that doesn’t care one iota about range nor looking like a conservative marshmallow designed by styling clinics? The Drayson is exactly that: a Lola-chassised EV that’s been built with no intention of beating the London Congestion Charge, but instead with the sole aim of swallowing Tarmac as quickly as possible. Its top speed?
