THEY WERE REMOVED FROM BIG BLOCK 390 AND HAD A HIGH GLOSS SHINE. UNFORTUNATLY I SPRAYED THEM WITH A CAN OF CLEAR COAT AND THE MOSTURE PENATRATED THRU. THAT WHITE CHALK IS WHAT YOUR SEEING IN PICTURE. THEY NEED TO BE STRIPED AND REPOLISHED. PRIOR TO THAT THEIR WAS NO HEAVY PITTING, CRACKS OR BUSTED FINS. THE 390 WAS IMBOSSED 1/16 DEEP.

AMG Action! Mercedes eyes new naturally aspirated V8
Wed, 12 Jan 2011Mercedes-Benz has selected the twin turbocharged 5.5-liter V8 engine to power the recently unveiled S63 AMG, CL63 AMG and CLS63 AMG, with ratings between 525 hp and 577 hp. But it's going to be a different story for the successor to the SLK55 AMG set to be revealed at next year's Frankfurt motor show. Sources within the Stuttgart headquarters suggest the new performance roadster is earmarked to receive a yet-to-be revealed naturally aspirated version of Mercedes-Benz's new 5.5-liter V8.

Mon, 01 Mar 2010This beautiful green beast is the new Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera, unveiled tonight at the Volkswagen Group’s big party ahead of tomorrow’s 2010 Geneva motor show. This LP570-4 Superleggera will hit 62mph in 3.4 seconds (its predecessor took four tenths longer and the LP560-4 needs 3.7 seconds for the benchmark sprint), dash past 124mph after 10.2 seconds, and reach 202mph flat out. It’s not a harder, faster version of the special edition, rear-drive Balboni Gallardo, but a harder, faster version of the regular LP560-4. Spot on.
