But the Skoda holds the promise of more for less, a trick Skoda has managed to pull off with a number of VW products. Skoda has also been out playing with the Yeti in Norway, exposing it to a wide variety of off and on-road surfaces to shake it down properly before the first customer cars are ready for delivery.

We then had the Cupra R launch proper at Frankfurt in September, but it’s taken a further six months for SEAT to open up the order book in the UK (officially from 1st April) and no doubt a month or three more until the first UK customer gets to go and play. Car production hits million mark
Thu, 24 Oct 2013A MILLION CARS have been produced so far this year in the UK, helped by a highly successful month in September. But manufacturing of commercial vehicles (CV) slumped more than 27%. A total of 140,888 cars were built in the UK in September 2013 - 9.9% more than in September last year, the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) said.
