THIS IS NOT A COMPLETE ASSEMBLY. This is for someone who needs to rebuild their assembly or buy the plastic handle, roller, etc. to make it complete. These are the parts that are not sold by themselves at the reproduction level. I used to sell these as cores to a remanufacturer, but they have gone out of business, and these are my last ones. I have 1967 1968 in another listing. Shipping is cheaper if you buy more than 1. VW halts merger talk with Porsche
Mon, 18 May 2009Volkswagen on Sunday slammed the brakes on merger talks with Porsche, just before the first meeting to discuss ways to bring all of the automakers' brands together under one entity. VW said that it made the move because it believes that Porsche doesn't have a solid plan for the merger. VW and Porsche announced the plan to hold merger talks on May 6.
Porsche reveals extreme 911 GT2 RS
Tue, 11 May 2010Porsche has revealed its most powerful and arguably most extreme road-going 911 to date: the GT2 RS. The new rear-wheel-drive road rocket will debut publicly at the Moscow auto show in late August and will go on sale in the United States in October. The GT2 RS, to be built in a limited run of 500, is powered by the latest evolution of Zuffenhausen's 3.6-liter, twin-turbocharged, horizontally opposed six-cylinder engine, tuned to deliver a Le Mans-grade 620 hp.
Aston Martin adds a V8 Vantage S
Tue, 25 Jan 2011Slotted between Aston Martin's vaunted V8 Vantage and the venerable V12 variant comes a tweener model that promises to be anything but vague: Aston is adding the S variant, with more power and an upgraded transmission. The Vantage S draws power from the 4.7-liter V8 making 430 hp, 10 hp more than in the base Vantage. The S also adds 15 lb-ft of torque, boosting total twist to 361 lb-ft.
