This is a panel to mount 1 standard DIN size radio and two 2 1/16" gauges in the dash/console of 87-93 Ford Mustangs. It is bare aluminum, ready for paint or powdercoat or polishing. Paint it yourself and save. This is a good alternative to gauge pods and make adding aftermarket gauges easy and gives a nice factory look. Gauges not included. I also have this in steel. Bahrain Grand Prix (2012) RESULT
Sun, 22 Apr 2012Bahrain F1 Grand Prix 2012 With Red Bull and McLaren filling the front two rows of the grid in the Bahrain Grand Prix, will we see normal business resume for F1? From a mix and match grid at the first three grand Prix of the 2012 season, we see Vettel back on the front row – and on pole – with Hamilton alongside and Webber and Button behind in Bahrain. So it’s reasonable to expect a return to the sort of result in Bahrain we’re used to in F1.
Official: Aston Martin gets its hands on Mercedes AMG engines & Electronic Architecture
Thu, 25 Jul 2013Aston Martin & AMG confirm they’re getting in bed together Back in December we reported that Aston Martin had new investment from Investindustrial and wondered if that would mean – thanks to an existing relationship between Investindustrial and AMG – if we’d see Aston Martin finally getting access to AMG’s engines and platforms. By May, things had moved on and it was clear that Aston Martin and AMG were in talks for Aston Martin to get access to their engines for the next generation of AML’s cars. Now those talks have borne fruit and AMG and AML have signed a letter of intent for Aston Martin to “access significant Mercedes-AMG GmbH and Mercedes-Benz Cars’ resources, allowing the development of bespoke V8 powertrains and the use of certain components of electric/electronic (e/e) architecture.” Interestingly, there’s no talk of V12 engines – which could mean Aston Martin are going to move from the current Ford V12 for the DB9 and Vanquish to a powerful V8 from AMG – and nor is there talk of sharing platforms.
