Tired drivers carry on at the wheel

A QUARTER of UK motorists have admitted to driving while tired in the last six months, according to a survey. Of these, 42% opted to carry on behind the wheel rather than take a break, the survey of 2,000 adults by insurance company esure found. Carrying on while fatigued was worst among 18-34-year-old drivers, while Londoners were the ones most likely to continue when tired.

Fisker has released the first image of its new Surf vehicle, set to debut at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show. Focusing on continuing with the company's philosophy, 'Pure Driving Passion' - the electric vehicle with extender range is said to be akin to the Fisker Karma sedan, but Fisker has intriguingly promised a new twist. After 5 comes 6, so with the all-new Mazda 5 recently announced, up next is a revised version of the Japanese car company's family saloon. The facelifted Mazda 6, like the 5, will be unveiled at the 2010 Geneva motor show in March. The front and rear lights have been tweaked, and the 6's nose now features a huge, Insignia-aping slash of chrome across the grille.
