You are bidding on a used but in excellent condition OEM Ford Premium Sound JBL radio/cassette head unit and OEM CD player made by Sony. These were removed from my '95 Ford Taurus SHO several months back to make way for a modern head unit. These units can be used in a large variety of other Ford/Lincoln vehicles so please check your application before placing your bid.  I will also include the cables to go with the set. See pictures to appreciate.

Head unit: The head unit is in excellent working order. A close friend of mine bought his 1993 Taurus SHO new in '93 and shelved the radio about 1 year after buying the car. He upgraded the head unit and this one sat in a closet until 2011. I purchased it from him and used it in my own SHO until March of this year. The radio is practically new with only 3 years of use (see picture with original factory color marking on the back). The cassette feature works flawlessly and illuminates correctly for any Taurus application.

CD Player:The CD player works but suffers from the ''clicking" issue when you insert a CD. After a few attempts it works fine. It also has issues ejecting sometimes but nothing serious. There is a fix posted in the Taurus SHO forums on how to resolve this issue, I rarely used the CD player but tested it prior to posting it here.

Ford gets the 1965 Mustang ready for the racetrack

Wed, 26 Mar 2014

When a pair of 1965 Ford Mustangs served as pace cars for the 1964 Indianapolis 500, the car -- which had made its debut just a few weeks before -- was kicking off an exciting motorsports career that continues to this day. In the April 25, 1964, issue of Competition Press and Autoweek, we shared news (relayed to us by none other than Lee Iacocca) of the Mustang's racing ambitions. At the time, the competition schedule included the Midnight Sun road rally in Sweden, the Alpine rally in France and Spa-Sofia-Liege rally, which ran between Belgium and Yugoslavia.

Mon, 23 Feb 2009

Chrysler let slip the names to two upcoming Alfa Romeo models in its survival plan submitted to Congress--and here is a look at one of them, the Milano. Alfa has been developing this five-door small car to replace the 147 in its lineup. The new car was developed under the 149 name, but it will be called the Milano when it is launched in Europe late this year.
