PSA has launched its new Peugeot Design Lab to design products, services and experiences for clients outside the automotive industry. Peugeot Design Lab, a global brand design studio, is located within the Peugeot Design Centre and utilizes the existing technical and human resources expertise in order to draw from the many years of design experience of the design team. It also comprises of designers from studios from across three continents in Paris, Shanghai and Sao Paolo.

Vauxhall Adam & Vauxhall Cascada get new engines Vauxhall (and Opel, for that matter) are on a mission to fit new, more powerful and more efficient engines in cars across their range, and new engines are on their way for the Vauxhall Adam and the new Cascada. The Vauxhall Adam gets a new 1.0 litre 3-cylinder engine from GM’s SGE (Small Gasoline Engine) family that will ultimately offer 3 and 4-cylinder engines up to 1.6 litres. The 1.0 litre 3-pot for the Adam gets 113bhp and 122lb/ft of torque (it’s Vauxhall’s take on the hugely successful 1.0 litre EcoBoost Ford are busy introducing across their range) mated to a new six-speed gearbox.

The first view of a production VW Golf R Cabriolet has arrived in a video of the new Golf R Cabriolet from Volkswagen. The idea that VW would produce a convertible version of the Golf R has been around as long as the Golf R has. But only now, when the current Golf R is almost the ‘old’ Golf R after the arrival of the new VW Golf MK 7, do we get the production version.
