This FULL COLOR diagnostic training manual covers all 2010 up 6.7 PowerStroke operating systems- glow plug circuits, fuel supply and delivery, complete common rail theory and application, variable turbocharger intake system, Single Sequential turbo used on the engine, EGR valve and coolers, computer control, diagnostic procedures, component locations, computer strategies, common problems and pattern failures. A cutaway 6.7 PowerStroke engine has been photographed to examine fuel delivery! A wide variety of 6.7 PowerStroke parts are photographed in full color for demonstration purposes- cylinder head, cutaway turbocharger, fuel injectors, sensors, a complete fuel system, DPF/DOC and more. Considerable space is given to explaining the function of the Diesel Particulate Filter and Diesel Oxidation Catalyst aftertreatment systems with plenty of color photographs including a cutaway DOC/DPF/SCR system. (see pictures of pages below) The manual expands on diagnostics in the shop doing live tests on running PowerStroke equipped trucks with scan data evaluation using the Ford IDS scan tool software.
