Daihatsu hits Indonesian show with eight new concept cars

Wed, 25 Sep 2013

Daihatsu has launched a product offensive on the Indonesian International Motor Show in Jakarta, with eight concept cars all based around the theme ‘Compact ECO Mobility Best Friend'. (Incidentally the company's Tanto remains the most adorable of the Kei breed.) The UFC 2 (the blue car) is an evolution of the UFC that was show in 2012 and manages to squeeze seven seats into is handsomely contemporary body.

His slides (taken with a Yashica camera, he notes) show the unusual cars in the nice, bright colors of Kodachrome.

While we at One AutoWeek Tower prefer greasy T-shirts and ripped jeans, collared apparel does have its place. In that vein, Lauren's fabled car collection is taking center stage at a Paris art museum, and the exhibit will run through Aug.
