Ford Ranger 4" Spindle Lift (torison Bar Model Only) on 2040-parts.com
Saint Petersburg, Florida, United States
This is a pair of front spindles designed to lift a Ford Ranger 2WD 4" with torison bar suspension. They came off a 2003 Ranger Edge 2WD but I believe they will fit 2001 through 2005 (but double check). They were installed for only about a year and a half with about 7000 miles wear. They are in very good condition and have mounting location for ABS sensor. They have been relieved a little on the back side to allow maximum turning radius, this is needed in most every brands per instructions. This is the best way to lift the front because it does not change the geometry of the suspension. They are Maxtrac brand ($330.00 new). For sale locally so sale may end early.

Tesla teases Model S prior to debut
Thu, 12 Feb 2009Prior to its world debut on March 26, Tesla has decided to whet the appetites of green-car fans by releasing a teaser image of its upcoming Model S sedan. Under the direction of former Mazda designer Franz von Holzhausen, the Model S features a rounded front nose, a front fender plate with an affixed Tesla emblem and a noticeably shorter hoodline. Unlike the Fisker Karma, the Model S will be powered solely on battery propulsion and do without a range-extending engine, which helps accommodate the shorter hood.
BMW, Mercedes consider return to 4-bangers in U.S. market
Mon, 27 Apr 2009Facing stricter fuel economy standards, BMW and Mercedes-Benz are considering bringing four-cylinder engines back to the United States. BMW stopped offering four-cylinders in 1999 when its 318ti hatchback flopped. Mercedes-Benz had four-cylinder engines on the 2005 C230 and SLK230 but dropped them in favor of six-cylinder models.
Drivers fail car insurance test
Mon, 11 Mar 2013On a 10-question, multiple-choice test asking respondents to choose correct definitions for basic auto insurance terms, the average score was 32 percent out of a possible 100 percent, according to insurance.com. The test group included 500 drivers of all ages and from various regions of the United States, but apparently no matter what the details, nobody really knows much about car insurance. When broken down into demographic segments, women outscored men by about 8 percentage points on average, and drivers in the south beat out those in the northeast by 10 percentage points.
