The Renaultsport Megane 250 The latest offering from Renaultsport to hit UK shores is the Megane, which had it’s official reveal at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September and is now due to go on sale from the 1st November in the UK, with first customer cars arriving in January 2010. Renault are offering up two versions of the Renaultsport Megane – the hard-core 250 Cup version which will have you queueing at the osteopaths and the slightly softer, and better equipped, Megane 250. Just to complicate matters you can opt for the more back-friendly Megane 250 with its extra kit including auto lights and wipers, leather and electric seats and specify it with the Cup pack.

Californian Bruce Meyer is really into collecting cars, particularly hot rods. But Meyer is not content to just let his cars sit--he wants to drive. One of his latest efforts was taking a modified 1932 Ford roadster to the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah in a bid to break the 200-mph mark.

Suzuki is showing its vision for an aerodynamic city car at the 2011 Tokyo auto show: the regally named Regina. It's pitched as a radical 'next-generation global compact car', which sounds suspiciously as if it could have production intent. The new Suzuki Regina is all about minimalism: it weighs just 730kg, so it only requires a small capacity petrol engine, which brings emissions down to 70g/km and appetite for unleaded at a rate of 90mpg.
