Up for sale is a mid 1960's Ford accessory tachometer that was available as an add on accessory for all models of Ford vehicles( although they are mostly seen on Lightweight Galaxy Drag Cars and Thunderbolts )with V/8 engines, and sold thru the Ford parts network. They were actually manufactured by the Faria  instrument corporation in Uncasville,Ct.. They  must have been a little on the pricey side because it is a very seldom seen accessory This an ALL  original tach, no modifications or damage visible, and it has a nice fresh look, however  there is some lite pitting on the outside of the cup. The often missing mounting bracket is included.  This tach  has been in my tachometer collection for many years and they are one of the rarest factory tachs to find  .I've  not tested the tach and it is sold as is.

The rule--supported by major automakers--is part of a broader package of regulations called the Advanced Clean Car program designed to cut vehicle greenhouse gas and smog-forming emissions. The sweeping new auto emission standards could mean 1.4 million electric, fuel cell and plug-in hybrid vehicles on California roads by 2025.
