For sale is a set of 4 good, working Ford Model T spark coils. The coils have Ford logos. The wood has been cleaned and finished with boiled linseen oil. Two have new points and other two point points have been cleaned and look good, close to new. The capacitors have been measured on a capacitance tester and are fine. These coils are in good working order and the current has been set to 1.0-1.2 amps DC. Plug them in and run your car. If not satisfied, I will accept the return of the complete, undamaged set. NHTSA opens investigation into Ford Taurus throttle issue
Tue, 13 Mar 2012The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has launched a preliminary investigation into claims of the throttle sticking open on the Ford Taurus from the 2005-06 model years. NHSTA says there are 14 claims of a stuck throttle in the Taurus, possibly because of the cruise-control cable becoming detached. No injuries have been reported.
