Default 32-48 Ford Banjo Tube Shock Mount

Pure Hot Rods answer to Henry's fluid shocks. We manufacture these MADE IN THE USA tube shock mounts that are an upgrade from the 48 Ford mounts. They are two inches longer and equal length with removable studs for stock and custom applications. This allows for lowered cars to use an adequate shock length as well as being a great answer to a stock restoration. Hot Rodders and Restores alike have depleted the supply of original stock units, so here are bolt on, brand new mounts ready for your ride. We also offer the same mount that welds on any housing for that old school feel on your ground up build that is using a late model rear end, check our other listings. For $22 a pair, we offer stock type top shock studs. We are a full service Hot Rod shop specializing in Postwar Traditional Hot Rods. Any questions call Brian or Jake @ Pure Hot Rods (309) 582-3547.

BMW bobsled carries Team USA to Winter Olympics victory

Wed, 19 Feb 2014

At the Sochi Winter Olympics, Team USA took home its first medal in two-man bobsledding since 1952. Steven Holcomb, a former Alpine skier and National Guard soldier, and partner Steven Langton raced to a third-place finish in the event -- despite Holcomb's sprained left calf that doctors had to treat long into the night before the race. The margin of victory for the bronze medal was just 0.03 second.

The roadster shares many of the technical features and specifications from the hardtop version, though some elements had to be changed to accommodate the folding soft top.

P1 Supercar Club in administration

Tue, 07 Apr 2009

The P1 Supercar Club seems to have fallen by the wayside. [ad#ad-1] In a buoyant economy, with plenty of ‘Readies’ floating around, the Supercar Club Concept (where members pay an annual fee for the use of a fleet of Supercars for a fixed number of days a year) works well. Clubs in the UK have sprung up all over the place, inspired by the success of the P1 Supercar Club, co-founded by Damon Hill in 2000.
