Vauxhall Zafira (2008): first official pictures

The facelifted model arrives in time for the new March 2008 ‘08’ number plate, but buyers will be hard pressed to notice the changes: new chrome detailing on the grille, different foglight surrounds, and redesigned lights front and rear give the game away. Other changes include curtain airbags made standard on all models and… actually, there’s not much else new.

Van Damme Does The Business For Volvo

WHO said selling trucks had to be dull? Volvo has already used a hamster to sell its big rigs – it helped steer a truck if you don’t mind – and now the Swedish firm has employed the services of Jean-Claude Van Damme. Called ‘The Epic Split’, the action movie star is seen doing the splits while balancing precariously between two moving Volvo trucks.

2013 Nissan GT-R gets more power and smoother shifting

Nissan has announced updates for the all-wheel-drive 2013 Nissan GT-R, which will go on sale in January 2012. Output is raised to a whopping 545 ponies, while torque grows to 463 lb-ft. Transmission feel and noise were tamed, and the suspension was retuned.
