A set of (6) original Ford steel wheels that can be used for your restoration project, street rod, rat rod, etc. - can be turned into chrome-reversed rims or whatever you want to do with them. The listing price gets you all 6. Fit Ford 5 X 5.5" lug pattern. They are 15" X 5.5". They take the small cap that snaps on the inside like a 40 ford car. No damage. All lug holes are good. No rust through. Some light pitting mostly in the tube contact area. Will sand blast up nicely or use as is.
I am honestly not completely sure what year applications these cover, I was told '40-'48 but some of you experts out there may know otherwise.
I prefer local pickup but would consider shipping - buyer will pay all shipping-related costs. Right now I have only put in an estimate of the shipping weight. Automakers try to stop increase in ethanol limit to 15 percent of gasoline
Mon, 11 Oct 2010Automakers are seeking to head off an EPA ruling that would allow gasoline to contain 15 percent ethanol, up from 10 percent now, and they've won some bipartisan congressional support. The two main automaker industry lobbies have argued that the U.S. Department of Energy has done insufficient testing to assure that gasoline containing up to 15 percent ethanol won't harm vehicles.
Chrysler is set to invest $500 million in Toledo Jeep assembly plant
Wed, 16 Nov 2011Chrysler Group plans to invest $500 million in its Toledo North Assembly Plant and hire a second shift of workers over the next year to build a new Fiat-based SUV for Jeep, as well as other vehicles. "This plant has been chosen to build the future Jeep SUV to replace the current Jeep Liberty that will be exported to markets all over the world," CEO Sergio Marchionne said at the plant Wednesday. "Jeep is at the heart of our plans to internationalize Chrysler, a process which is being accelerated by Chrysler's access to Fiat's distribution capabilities in Europe and Latin America." Toledo North is Chrysler's only assembly plant with only one shift of workers.
