Every block is thermal cleaned, stress relieved, Magna Fluxed, threads chased, mains are checked and corrected, and the decks squared equalized. The block is then precision bored and torque plate honed to proper finish. Finally freeze plugs and cam bearings are then installed. Take a look below at all our short block options.


-IN STOCK ITEMS- Ship no later than the second business day after receiving cleared payment.  All short or long block engines take approximately 30 days to be built and ship. 
Pay by 12pm PST and most orders will have SAME DAY SHIPPING!
Due to PayPal and Credit Card policies any item or combination of items valued over $250 requires a signature for delivery.
All items paid with PayPal must ship to the address in the shipping address field in your payment details as required by PayPal.
If there are any issues fulfilling your order we will contact you and offer a full refund if there will be more than 5 days until shipping.
Any item paid for with an echeck through PayPal will not ship until the money clears, typically 3-5 business days.
We observe all major holidays; please contact us before bidding if you are unsure of when your item will ship.
International Information:

We will ship any part from any auction to anywhere in the world!
All customs fees are paid by the receiver.
Please research your customs fees with your local government before ordering so you know what to expect to pay once the shipment arrives.
We do not lower invoice values since it is a violation of US and International custom laws.
All international shipments are shipped with the correct value for the parts shipped.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES:
Custom Performance Racing accept returns of unused, uninstalled, brand new goods, but we must charge a restocking fee of 25% to cover the costs we incur from eBay, Paypal, shipping, labor, etc. We also must charge a 25% restocking fee on any order which is cancelled after payment has been received, even if that order has not shipped. This is also to help cover the fees associated with eBay, PayPal, order processing, restocking, etc. If you would like to return or exchange an item please email us with your paypal or authorize.net transaction id # and the reason for the return or exchange.
No returns are accepted without an RMA number which is given to the customer by 
Custom Performance Racing via email. Always have the RMA number clearly written on multiple sides of the package when you return the item. If it is not clearly written on multiple sides of the box it may be returned to sender. All returns must be received within 30 days of purchase.

Coventry University's School of Art and Design recently held an exhibition at the Coventry Transport Museum for the 18 students graduating from its MA Automotive Design course. The projects consisted of a number of innovative and exploratory concepts, almost half of which, interestingly, were presented in digital form. Audi Q5 concept is killer

Audi has provided the strongest hint yet that it plans to crown its Q5 lineup with an RS model by revealing a one-off, 408-hp, supercharged 3.0-liter V6 concept version of its compact SUV. The vehicle’s public premiere comes this weekend at the annual Woerthersee meet in Austria. Although Audi officials are playing down the importance of the custom concept, insiders have told AutoWeek that it was constructed to provide customer feedback on a possible performance-oriented version of the Q5, the likes of which would almost certainly form part of the company’s future North American lineup.
