Ford turbo model 2.3L SOHC Hi Performance head gasket.

M-6051-A231

F47E-6051-A5A

To the best of my knowledge this gasket will fit the SVO Mustang, Merkur XR4TI, Mercury Thunderbird Super Coupe, Ranger truck, Capri, and my personal favorite the Pinto.  As long as the engine is the Ford 2.3L SOHC from the early 70's to the early 90's. Please double check your application before bidding. If you are unsure send me a message with your vehicle application. I will see if I can help.

This gasket was designed by Ford for the Hi Performance turbo engines. Ford offered a stock replacement gasket, this Hi-performance gasket, and a 1035 gasket for for the engines with serious HP.  It has been discontinued from Ford for several years.

I currently DO NOT ship outside of the continental United States.

Dacia Lodgy

Thu, 05 Jan 2012

Renault's budget brand, Dacia, is set to further its position as Europe's fastest growing automotive manufacturer with the introduction of the Lodgy. The five- or seven-seat MPV will be introduced at the forthcoming Geneva motorshow and promises to offer the brand's trademark qualities of value for money and robustness. Externally, there are visual links between the Lodgy and the products of its parent company, with the car sharing a similar silhouette to the Grand Scenic.

The MX-5 has, quite rightly, dominated the little, open sports car market for ever. It does so much so very right, and so little wrong, it is an example of how to dominate a niche.

UK Car Scrappage scheme gets green light?

Tue, 14 Apr 2009

Mandy said NO to scrappage, but it looks like Alistair Darling will introduce a scheme in the next budget [ad#ad-1] After much to-ing and fro-ing, it has been claimed by most of the UK national press over the weekend that a UK version of the Car Scrappage Scheme will be introduced in the budget by Alistair Darling. The scheme aims to offer new car buyers a guaranteed trade-in against a new, cleaner car of £2,000. But it is being suggested that the Government will insist that car manufacturers chip in half this money, with the tax payer paying the other half.
