“Each injector goes through a rigorous service process. They are externally cleaned, disassembled, and checked thoroughly for damage. They get ultrasonic cleaned from all deposits that form inside the injector which restricts nozzle operator. They are then flushed off any broken up deposits from the ultrasonic cleaning. Each injector is then bench tested for flow under full load and a wide array of speeds to make sure it's working properly. Based on the flow measurements they are grouped into 1% flow matched sets. The injectors receive new pintle caps, spacers, filters and o-rings. Fits 2000 - 2005 3.0L Ford Taurus and Mercury Sable models that have the 8th digit of vin # U. It's the no-DOHC non-Flex fuel injectors. Check photo and compare to ones on your engine. They're easy to see and verify by finding the red band. These do not interchange with the other 3.0L DOHC or Flex Fuel injectors which are different in appearance.”

Volvo's Sensus Connected Touch connectivity system with the world's first voice-activated integrated Spotify connection has been awarded a 2013 Red Dot Design Award. The Sensus Connected Touch accessory turns the integrated 7-inch display into an infrared, beam-scanned touch screen that can be used even when wearing gloves. The system can be controlled using the touchscreen, the steering wheel or the center stack, while you can also voice-activate all music sources. Alain Visser, senior vice president of marketing, sales and customer service at Volvo, says, "The Red Dot Design Award confirms that this approach to an intuitive, human-centric user experience fulfils modern car owners' desire to remain constantly connected also when driving." The WiFi connection can be made using either a car-mounted 3G/4G-dongle or the driver's mobile phone, and the data is transferred by the WiFi between the phone and the Sensus Connected Touch.

Toyota Motor Corp.'s incoming chairman said he wants the sports car the company is developing with BMW to be a midsized vehicle comparable to the discontinued Supra. Toyota's next sports car should be like the Supra so that it doesn't overlap with the 86 coupe, Takeshi Uchiyamada said in an interview today in Osaka at a gathering of members of the Keidanren, Japan's biggest business lobbying group. Still, such decisions are up to engineers, Uchiyamada said.
