College Exhibition: CCS Spring Show 2009

This year's CCS Senior Show provided another year of outstanding graduates while the automotive industry continues to retract due to the global financial crisis. Given all the negative news about auto bankruptcies and closures, it was refreshing to see such youthful, creative and challenging designs in a modern and hopeful environment. The projects on display ranged from militaristic Jeep off-road vehicles to a microvan for the ‘future family of two = single parent + only child'.

2012 Honda Civic UK Prices & Specs revealed The 2012 Honda Civic may be more of an evolution of the old Civic than a radical departure, but it does seem to offer a decent package, and one designed to cope with UK roads too. We already know plenty about the 2012 Civic, from its new suspension and dynamics – tuned to UK roads, no less – to the improved engines with better economy and lower emissions, thanks to an endless tease from Honda, but one which was at least informative. Add the mighty Chevrolet Corvette to the list of recalled cars. General Motors is recalling some 2005 and 2006 models for a steering-column problem. About 40,000 cars produced between March 2004 and January 2006 could be affected.
