Ford Y Block Alum High Performance Intake Manifold on 2040-parts.com

Indianapolis, Indiana, United States
Condition:Used Brand:Ford

Early John Mummert alum perf intake manifold; 1957 replica of cast iron 4 barrel intake with factory engineer #s....  15 lb alum vs 31 lb cast iron intake. Half the weight and significant increase in performance over the factory intake.  Used it on my 57 Tbird with great success.

The front pass side carb stub threads have some damaged because I over torqued when installing carb, Still works ok but I would have a machine shop repair-re-tap the front pass side stud threads .
Over $500 then purchased new with lower reserve set.  Great oppty for someone who looking for original look but with much better performance for thier Y Block build;..... and who's familiar around machine shop to cost effectively re-thread carb stud.

My lose is your gain for the right buyer!  Sold as it with no warranty etc Good Luck
