  • Fits 1310 U-Joint  3-7/32" cross x 1-1/16" caps.  Not included.
  • Fits Bert and Brinn Racing transmissions with 27 spline output shafts (some older transmissions don't have the long splined output shaft).
  • Be careful with stock GM transmissions as they usually don't have enough spline length on the transmission output shaft.

Mercedes unveils powerful new AMG 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8

By John Mahoney Motor Industry 25 July 2014 17:09 Mercedes AMG has released details of an all-new 503bhp 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 that will help fill the void when the production of its normally aspirated 6.2-litre V8 ends. Lightweight, compact and more efficient than the big 6.2-litre it replaces, the new smaller capacity turbocharged V8 produces 479lb ft from just 1750rpm. The first car to receive the new engine will be the Porsche 911-rivalling Mercedes AMG GT, but other smaller cars like the C63 AMG are also set to benefit from its compact design.

Poll finds electric car 'confusion'

CONSUMER confusion is the main reason why electric car sales have failed to spark, according to a survey of motorists. Lack of understanding about the practicalities of electric cars is deepest among those keen to buy one, the survey by market research company GfK Automotive found. Just 8% of the 3,161 motorists polled said they would definitely or probably buy an electric car at some stage.

The headline stuff has been mainly about ‘Eco’ cars and although there has been a bit of domestic ‘Muscle’ it’s been a bit thin on the ground. Yes, we had the Mustang GT and even the Buick Regal GS but in terms of real clout probably the most impressive has been the Cadillac CTS-V Coupe.
