Koenigsegg Agera One:1 is world’s first “megacar”Sat, 01 Mar 2014Even in a world recently introduced to the Ferrari LaFerrari (sold out), McLaren P1 (sold out) and Porsche 918 Spyder (er… ) hypercars, boutique Swedish supercar maker Koenigsegg has just made an extraordinary announcement. At the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, it will reveal the Agera One:1 – which Koenigsegg has dubbed the world’s first "megacar". Thing is, having looked at the spec, we believe it. Lotus won’t be sold – Bahar suspended over expensesTue, 29 May 2012Lotus owners Proton have said that Lotus is not up for sale and reports say Lotus CEO Dany Bahar has been suspended over his expenses. There’s been a lot of show and not much real go since Dany Bahar took over at Lotus. Grandiose plans launch a whole range of supercars from a small niche manufacturer in the flatlands of Norfolk was always a strange call, and the sort of bills loss-making Lotus seems to be meeting make, on the face of it, little commercial sense. New Rolls Royce Wraith on the road (video)Wed, 12 Jun 2013The new Rolls Royce Wraith hits the road The new Rolls Royce Wraith – revealed at the Geneva Motor Show in March – is Rolls Royce’s answer to the sport credentials of Bentley, and it’s a convincing effort. Essentially a Ghost Coupe, the Wraith’s styling is, perhaps, a little jarring with its almost dog humping back end, but from some angles it also looks remarkably elegant for a two door coupe that’s the size of a delivery truck. But the key to the Wraith’s appeal – apart from the sumptuous fixtures and fittings – is its dynamism and power, with 624bhp on tap from its v12 (and an earth-turning 590lb/ft of torque too) enough to shift the Wraith to 60mph in a very un-Rolls Royce 4.4 seconds. 2040Parts.com © 2012-2024.
