The EVO-GMT3 is the ultimate Factory Fit, ALL-IN-ONE data immobilizer bypass, doorlock, alarm & remote start interface with T-Harness combo module for 2014+ Chevy Silverado 1500, GMC Sierra 1500 vehicles and 2015+ HD Pickups. It raises the standard of hassle-free installation convenience to a whole new level. It uses a multiple bus architecture with 10 separate communication ports that provide more complete functionality on every supported vehicle.

Remote start your vehicle — precool in summer, preheat in winter

Choosing the right remote start system and installing it in your vehicle has become a lot simpler and more affordable with this all-in-one Fortin EVO-Series package. The EVO-GMT3 system includes a digital interface module, which bypasses your vehicle's immobilizer circuits so you can start it without a key, and a T-harness that'll connect the module to your specific vehicle.

Vehicle-specific harness simplifies the installation

While not quite plug-and-play, the harness connections cut down installation time considerably, so you do-it-yourselfers out there can save a little money. Fortin includes a code on the package that you use on their website to download and print detailed, illustrated instructions for your installation.

Use your factory remote

You start your vehicle by pressing the lock button on your factory key three times. This system lets you start your car from as far away as the key will lock and unlock your doors.

Optional RF remotes increase the range to 1500 feet

If you want to be able to start your car from inside your home or office, for instance, you can extend the range of your EVO-GMT3 up to a quarter mile by simply plugging in one of these RF remote kits to the interface module.

All we really learnt with that first news – apart from the fact it brought an iconic Automotive name back in to the car world (although it’s a different David Brown) – is that David Brown Automotive were planning a luxury sport car in the classic mould. Now, ahead of a public debut of ‘Project Judi’ at Monaco’s Top Marques Show in April, David Brown has revealed that their new car will basically be a Jaguar XKR with a bespoke and original interior and exterior.

The new Lexus IS - launched at Detroit in January and costing from £26,495 for the IS 250 in the UK – actually offers ownership costs that eclipse diesel offerings from the likes of Jaguar, BMW, Audi and Mercedes, say Lexus. Despite the logical assumption that the complex hybrid powerplant in the IS 300h would cost more to maintain, Lexus say the opposite is true. Because it has no clutch and the starter motor and alternator are integrated they require no servicing or replacement and Lexus has fitted a timing chain instead of a timing belt, so it won’t need regular replacement either.
