I have two sets of these removed from cars 40 years ago and dry stored since. These are the best four caps fitted with gold coronas and a special center. If you are using on a non Eldorado I can fit the caps with a larger center and no Corona. You can bid on one or more with or without corona and center. Just specify in your bid. These are not show quality but will look ok 5' away. the dust has been cleaned off. The patina is still there. You can polish and touch up as you need to . I think the caps are anodized alumininum. The metal is soft and dents can easily be removed. Springs in back of caps are in good shape as are the tabs. I think reanodizing is easier and less costly than chrome plating but you need to determine this. I believe there are reproductions for the caps. They don't look the same as these OEM ones. New reproductions also don't match up with old wheels. Some people use metallic gold paint on them but then the coronas don't match. Photos are high resolution with and without overhead light from about 2 to 3 feet away.  Caps are shiney so there are odd reflections and in some photos the gold colors look different. All four caps match. Centers and Coronas are slightly different patina and can be polished to look the same. There is no clear coat to mess with.  If you are smart and lucky enough to have have a car with rare gold Sabres you can figure out what you need. I am using a reduced shipping amount that will apply to whatever you bid on, preferably the whole enchilada. I have another set after these but they are not as nice. Just clearing out stuff I no longer have cars for. I also have the stainless steel sabre hub abs and Coronas for 53 to 56 Cadillacs

Hyundai is no stranger to the coupé market and it plans to unveil another at the 2013 Detroit motor show next week - in the shape of the HCD-14.  No information regarding performance or pricing has been released yet, aside from a single teaser image, but a Mercedes CLS-type swooshing rear end won’t get any complaints from us. Hyundai HCD-14: the teaser    Hyundai says the HCD-14 'will give the automotive world a glimpse into future Hyundai premium vehicle design, advanced 3-D gesture-based technology controls, and spirited driving dynamics.' Standard concept car teasing twaddle, then. Pontiac Solstice Coupe

Thu, 20 Mar 2008

By Liz Turner Motor Shows 20 March 2008 10:47 The Pontiac Solstice Coupe has a fairly simple brief in life. This is the car for anyone who likes the styling of the Roadster but doesn’t have the degree in origami needed to fold the flying buttresses and get the roof down. But the Solstice Coupe has a sunroof, so you can still get some wind in your hair.
