You do not need to purchase the complete key if your transponder chip are working normally. The blade is molded into the plastic so it must be cut to match your original key before you can use it. Not all locksmiths or dealerships have the proper equipment to cut high security key shell for Toyota , so you will need to call around before purchasing. Once the new key shell is cut you can remove the transponder chip from your original key, place it into the new shell and it will work just as normal. Please be certain that this is the proper key for your vehicle. This key can put chip inside.

Government bid to cut driving options
Wed, 23 Oct 2013PLANS DESIGNED to reduce petrol prices at motorway service stations and a freeze on the cost of the MoT test have been announced by the Government. A crackdown on whiplash injury fraud is also part of the driver-friendly package to be introduced from next year. Justice Secretary Chris Grayling said t he statutory maximum price of the MoT test for a car will be frozen at £54.85 until 2015 - potentially saving up to £50 million for drivers every year.
Car giant starts recruitment phase

The company said 500 production staff will be taken on as part of expansion plans at its factory in Solihull, West Midlands. The carmaker is investing £1.5 billion in the UK and plans to increase its workforce at Solihull to almost 8,000.
