Lamborghini Sesto Elemento concept

Based on the Gallardo supercar, the Sesto Elemento (six elements in the Italian sports car maker's native tongue) is a technological marvel, created entirely in carbon fiber to bring the vehicle's overall weight down to less than 1000kg. Hyundai at CES 2011
Sat, 08 Jan 2011Hyundai proved to be one of the biggest automotive surprises here at CES. While Audi and Ford have grabbed the headlines, it's clear that Hyundai isn't far behind, and on this evidence, may even be ahead in some areas of in-car electronics, before too long. The company unveiled its new ‘Bluelink' infotainment and telematics system as part of Tuesday's Consumer Telematics Show and this was being demonstrated on the company's show stand at CES too.
BMW 'Dwelling Lab' project
Tue, 11 May 2010One of the most interesting pieces of work shown at the recent Milan Design Week was 'The Dwelling Lab', collaboration between BMW, Flos Lighting and Kvadrat fabrics. Artists Patricia Urquiola and Guilio Ridolfo were commissioned to effectively turn a BMW 5 Series GT inside out. The car is 'exploded' - with five giant cone-like structures growing out of the windscreen, door openings etc.
