New Jaguar XJ kicks off with best sales in class
Thu, 08 Jul 2010The new Jaguar XJ tops the sales charts in June It’s taken a while; that’s for sure. We expected to see the new Jaguar XJ in showrooms before the end of 2009. Except for the XJ Supersports which was going to be March 2010.
Volkswagen Touran
Mon, 12 Apr 2010Volkswagen unveiled the new Touran at the Leipzig Motor Show last week. Though not an entirely new design, the revisions to the Touran were made to bring the car in line with other offerings in the Volkswagen stable - namely the Polo, Golf and the recently revealed Touareg SUV. At the front, a new grille with horizontal lines sits atop a new front bumper, while revised taillights with LED bulbs join a new tailgate and bumper at the rear.

Which with both the Jaguar XF and the Jaguar XJ replacing cars that were good but really didn’t sell, and turning them in to contenders for the top-spot in their sectors, a replacement for the X-Type is of huge interest. We had thought – in fact Jaguar had thought – that the plan to replace the X-Type was a high priority.
