Ayrton Senna's Toleman Formula One car to be auctioned at Silverstone in May

Several impressive lots are set to cross the block at Silverstone Auctions' Spring Sale, scheduled for May 16 at Silverstone Circuit in Northhamptonshire in the United Kingdom. By far the most impressive is a Toleman TG184-2 Formula One race car driven by Ayrton Senna in his first F1 season. The car is best known for Senna's second-place finish at the rainy 1984 Monaco Grand Prix.

Bring a Trailer: 1960 Alfa Romeo Giulietta

Our friends at Bring a Trailer are offering a gorgeous unrestored 1960 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Normale. The 65,000-mile California car is claimed to be “one of the most original 101-series Giulietta Sprints in existence today with all-original interior, mostly original paint, perfect gauges, factory engine-compartment components, no accidents, and straight chrome and trim.” Curiously, the engine and transmission were removed and rebuilt in 1975 but were never reinstalled. Citroen AirCross – based on Citroen C3 Picasso – revealed

The Citroen AirCross - looks like a South America only crossover This could be a new car from Citroen, but it could just as easily be another of those oddities that car makers throw at the southern end of the Americas. Citroen in Brazil has revealed – via Twitter – the Citroen AirCross, which is basically a Citroen C3 Picasso with a bit of Crossover / SUV butchness thrown in to create a rugged urban crossover. And it’s based on the old Citroen C3, which makes us think there’s a chance this may not be a world car.
