Fri, 18 Dec 2009The Aston Martin DBS Carbon Black It’s been a little while since we had a limited edition from Aston Martin, and just like Land Rover where we got the Freelander 2 Sport and the Freelander 2 White & Black in two days, we;ve got a pair of new cars from Aston Martin together – The Aston Martin DBS Carbon Black and the Aston Martin V12 Vantage Carbon Black. I suppose if you’re Aston Martin and you’re looking for a way to move a few extra cars you may as well pick the two most powerful versions of your cars to have a go. Both Carbon Black Models get the same paint job; a hand painted effort which takes 50 hours to apply and quality check.

The environmentally friendly design study is claimed to be a grand touring car with enhanced performance and safety attributes. Launched at the Paris Motor Show in 2002, the Enzo had a list price of $643,330 but, due to the exclusivity of the car, you would now have to pay at least 50% more to buy one. The mid-engined V12, linked to an F1 ‘box, delivers 651bhp, with a 0-60 time of 3.1 seconds and a 0-100 time of 6.6 seconds, with a top speed of over 225mph.
