Comfort and Support:

Comfortable PU (Polyurethane) mid-sole provides amazing step-in comfort and vibration dampening

Embedded, tempered steel shank encapsulated in the PU material gives footpeg arch support and awesome comfort

Durable and strong shank imbedded in the PU mid-sole

Shank design is perfectly positioned to provide arch support while letting the front of the foot and boot flex for good bike interface and for walking comfort

Durable out-sole constructed from Fox Racing's Duratac rubber compoundOut-sole disperses vibrations from the bike and provides amazing grip and outstanding durability

Strategically located TPU (Thermo Plastic Polyurethane) heel stabilizer provides heel and arch support

Comfortable and supportive insole with athletic footbed that is similar to one that you would find in a running shoe

Buckles:

Patented buckle design that utilizes a pivoting clasp system

By using a spherical locking head, the buckle works like a ball and socket joint

The clasp pivots 8 degrees in both directions allowing for automatic natural alignment of the straps

Easy to use with smooth operation time and time again

Buckles move with boot as it flexes

Interface:

RCI (Ride Control Interface) - The entire out-sole and medial side of the boot is shaped and textured to provide the rider with unobstructed contact with the bike

LRC (Low Ride Chassis) - Lower toe box provides easier shifting and better rear brake feel and control, by getting the rider's foot lower and closer to the footpeg

Duratac - Rubber compound on the out-sole, burn guard and hinge cover was engineered exclusively by Fox Racing's development team with the goal to achieve optimal grip with bulletproof durability

Fluid Movement:

Top of boot gasket creates a secure seal; Velcro was eliminated to offer increased mobility

FRE (Full Response Engineering) hinge design provides a controlled range of movement allowing effortless linear mobility and incredible lateral stability

Patented hinge lock-out stops rear motion before hyper-extension

R&D Wear Testing:

The Instinct has undergone the most extensive product wear testing in the history of Fox RacingSix prototypes and hundreds of test boots over three years evolved into the Instinct of today
