New GM chairman Whitacre to be featured in TV ad campaign
Thu, 10 Sep 2009General Motors Co. will launch a broad post-bankruptcy advertising campaign next week with an introductory TV spot featuring new Chairman Ed Whitacre, sources familiar with the plan said on Wednesday. The ad is expected to last 60 seconds and was created by the ad agency McCann-Erickson Worldwide.

And you can’t get much more ‘high-emd- – at least in terms of value – than Juan Manuel Fangio’s 1954 Mercedes W196R Formula One car which went under the hammer yesterday at Bonham’s Goodwood auction, and reached a world record auction price of £19,601,500 (including premium – £17.5m before).
