Honda starts deliveries of FCX Clarity

Some 200 hand-built FCX’s will be delivered to a wide range of customers, including high-profile celebrities – like actress Jamie Lee Curtis – as well as normal working families. The project is part of Honda’s goal to stimulate energy suppliers to create a more viable hydrogen supply network, a move backed by Arnold Schwarzenegger, the governor of California.

Transport networks braced for holiday season

THOUSANDS of travellers are hitting the roads and public transport networks on one of the busiest getaway days of the year as the school summer holidays begin. Alex Mair, retired head of GM technical staff, Pontiac and GMC, dies

Alex Mair, former group executive in charge of General Motors' technical staffs and general manager of the automaker's Pontiac and GMC divisions, died Sunday in Orange City, Fla. He was 91. Mair was named group executive of GM's technical staffs in November 1978 and remained in that position until he retired in 1986.
