But in the Treviat it looks stunning – it shimmers in a  way its namesake would be proud of. The CCXR Trevita will – we assume – come with the same bio-fuel engine as the CCXR Edition, as Koenigsegg has told us that this car will produce the same mammoth 1018 bhp, and sub-3 second 0-60, as the Edition.

The BMW 1 Series M Coupe revealed The whole argument about whether BMW would use the iconic ‘M1′ moniker on a lowly 1-Series car was finally settled (not that we ever had any doubts) back in July when BMW officially confirmed that the 1-Series M car would be known as the BMW 1 Series M Coupe. And it was happening. The official announcement saw BMW reveal an official video of the 1 Series M Coupe out on the track sporting the ubiquitous black and white swirls of camouflage so beloved of car makers with a new model to tease.

If you thought the Volkswagen Golf R400 concept displayed at the Beijing auto show seemed suspiciously like a real product -- you know, one you'll someday be able to buy rather than something trotted out to tease the world's enthusiasts -- you were on to something. VW says a production version of the car is in the works. We should clarify: We didn't get confirmation of that, exactly.
