Porsche reveals Panamera Turbo S

PORSCHE has taken the wraps off its new Panamera Turbo S, built for those who think the regular Turbo is neither fast nor exclusive enough. Prices will start at more than £131,000 for the car, which uses a twin-turbocharged 562bhp V8 petrol engine and four-wheel drive to catapult its two-tonne bulk to 62mph in just 3.8 seconds, on the way to a top speed of 192mph. Fuel economy is recorded as 27.7mpg on the European standard ‘combined cycle’ average, but drivers in the real world should expect around 20.

Jaguar XF SportBrake Spy - but it's an 'official' leak We’ve been talking about a Jaguar XF Estate – a big hole in the XF range – for a very long time. But finally we got confirmation from Jaguar that the XF Estate is actually going to happen and Jaguar’s designer, Ian Callum saying the Estate would arrive as the Jaguar XF Sportbrake. But we still had no idea exactly when Jaguar would get round to actually launching the XF Sportbrake.

Ian Callum stars in this video to the left - a preview of the forthcoming Jaguar XJ set to make its debut on July 9th this year. In his words: "The car is very modern, and it certainly meets up the expectations of people who understand design with a capital D, I have no doubt about that whatsoever." Callum goes on to describe the new XJ as a "very well crafted car," stating that it is "also a very designer led car". He asserts that the lines of the car have been reinterpreted in a different way "that actually is right and correct for the 21st century.
