Be aware some people are selling cheap chinese units listed with the melling part number, as if that's what you'll get. It's not. If it looks too good to be true it probably is.
Hi this is a brand spanking new MELLING stock volume oil pump for most small block Ford and Mercury engines. The replacement driveshaft pictured is only included in the high volume version, not this one. M68 for 260s 289s and 302s. This won't fit ANY 351 engine, I have those in other listings. These engines were used in mustang mach 1s, cougars eliminators, montegoes, f100s, f150s, f250s, f350s, broncos, grand torinos, ranchero GTs, full size custom, ranger and explorer pick up trucks, thunderbirds, LTDs, country squires, galaxys and about 500 other models. This is fresh from the factory, not one of those liquidation parts which has been laying around the back room of an out of business shop for ten years or the cheap chinese pumps some fellow makes in his back yard. Ford Freestyle under investigation for low-speed surges
Mon, 16 May 2011The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is investigating the Ford Freestyle wagon for complaints that it surges forward at low speeds. More than 200 complaints have been lodged about the issue, alleging that the Freestyle jumps forward at low speeds even when the accelerator isn't pressed. NHTSA is investigating about 170,000 Freestyles in model years 2005 through 2007.
