BMW e46 Front and Rear Subframe Heavy Duty/Competition Repair Reinforcement Kit

This kit is designed for the repair or reinforcement of the e46 3series front and rear subframe.

This kit is especially made for competition use. The front plates are 1/8" plate or approx. .115+.

The rear subframe plates are 12 gauge or .100+. (Normally the rear reinforcement plate kits are

14 gauge, approximately .075).  This kit has been revised to include the square 16 guage plates (but most

racers do not use them because they do not patch the hole in the trunk area).

Installation may require minor grinding. It will also require welding. You may decide to also include

the use a strong adhesive such as 3M 08115.

The installation of these parts are the sole responsibility of the purchaser/owner. I am not including

directions.

(The attached photos are for informational purposes only and show some of the plates while their

installation is in progress. Sorry, I did not take any pictures of the front plates being installed)

Infiniti FX30d: They DO exist.

Sun, 30 Jan 2011

Infiniti FX30d S - actually spied in the wild. The Sunday morning ritual (and the Saturday morning one, for that matter) is an hour with the dogs round the local meadow and woods. A ritual I have to confess is actually done every day, but it’s only at the weekends my excuses about being too busy to go fail to save me.

Rinspeed has previewed its microMAX commuter vehicle concept ahead of its debut at the upcoming Geneva motor show, where it aims to blur the boundaries between cars. taxis and busses. The prototype, measuring in at 3,700mm long and 2,200mm high, is designed to flexibly offer the benefits of both personal and public transport to those driving themselves to regular commuters in carpools – as shown in the delightfully cringe-inducing promo video photos.

Driven: Honda CR-Z

The Honda CR-Z has been a long time coming. Although the concept debuted in 2007, as a project it's been kicking around Honda for over 10 years. Since the first Insight was launched in 1999, there have been numerous stop-start projects to produce a hybrid successor to the much-loved CR-X coupe.
