Donald Frey, a senior product planning manager at Ford Motor Co. in the 1960s who along with Hal Sperlich and Lee Iacocca developed the iconic Ford Mustang, died on March 5 in Evanston, Ill., from a stroke. He was 87 years old.

Kia's latest Carens compact MPV is set to debut on 27 September during the Paris motor show. The 2013 Carens, the work of Peter Schreyer and his design team, was conceived around the theme of ‘dynamic space' and features a cab-forward design with a longer wheelbase, lower roofline and chrome beltline accent. Citroën has revealed its new Technospace concept ahead of Geneva, which previews the new C4 Picasso. The compact MPV concept – which measures in at 4,430mm long, 1,830mm wide and 1,610mm high – debuts next month in Geneva and appears to be a near-production version of the next C4 Picasso, with Citroën confirming it will be on sale by the end of the year. In comparison to the outgoing C4 Picasso, it shares some recognizable characteristics like the large windshield curving into the roof, together with the four-light greenhouse with blacked-out pillars.
